Appli Val d'Isère Ski

Val d’Isère Ski is the new ski area app developed by French start-up Youstiti, in conjunction with ski lift company Val d’Isère Téléphériques.

Using the very latest technology and algorithms, as well as an ultra-efficient geolocation system, the app allows users to get the absolute most out of their ski experience.

Awarded the Occitania region (south of France) prize for mountain innovation, Youstiti is also an Adour Entrepreneur network laureate. Its founder, Alexandre Magnat, comes from an IT background (logistics, data centre, aeronautics and renewable energy).

Getting the right information at the right time

Ski lift waiting times, ski run openings, location-based information… the Val d’Isère Ski app means you won’t come up against any unpleasant surprises along the way.

Get your bearings and explore the ski area

The Val d’Isère Téléphériques teams have come up with fun and sporty routes, adapted to suit all levels of skier. The «itinerary calculator» helps you make your way around the ski area with total peace of mind.

Making memories

Three new photo points are now available on the ski area:

  • Arrival area of le Vallon gondola lift (Iseran)
  • Arrival area of la Daille gondola lift (Bellevarde)
  • Arrival area of Le Grand Pré chair lift (Bellevarde)

They can be activated using the Val d’Isère Ski app, and its precise geolocation system.
A brand-new video point has also been created on the Solaise massif: it films the ValKids fun run, which can be found alongside the Poum magic carpet. The camera starts filming automatically when it detects the skier’s mobile phone.

Sharing achievements

At the end of each day, the app user can monitor detailed statistics linked to their day’s skiing (total time skied, percentage of ski area explored, total distance covered, speed record, vertical drop, runs skied on etc.) and share them with their friends.
