LEARN WHILST HAVING FUN IN THE VALKIDS AREA

Espaces ValKids

Who says the Val d’Isère ski area is only for experienced skiers?

Val d’Isère Téléphériques has been investing in the creation of fun spaces for children for a number of years now. From their very first ski experience to making a few more confident turns, ValKids is there to help little ones with learning to ski.

Playground – Solaise area

Special children’s workshops – rescue station, operating console, piste groomers and snowmobiles – we show them what goes on behind the scenes in the ski area.

Sledges – Solaise area

Take a ride down this safe toboggan run. Go along the run the other side of the banks of snow or take the Poum magic carpet to go back up again.

Play area – Solaise area

This short run is dotted with foam modules, making it ideal for learning how to do turns in a fun environment. Children can then go back up again on the Poum magic carpet without tiring themselves out.

P’tit cross – Bellevarde area

Designed for children with a bit more experience, le p’tit cross offers fun exercises on a safe course alongside the “Green” run on the Massif de Bellevarde.

How do I get to it?
Massif de Solaise: climb aboard the Solaise gondola lift. On arrival, go past the Lounge on your left and you will see the Poum magic carpet opposite. The ValKids zones start here.

Our advice
Located up at 2,550 metres on the Massif de Solaise, the good thing about the ValKids zones is that they are in full sun all day long. Deck chairs and picnic tables are available next to the play area, so you can kick back while your children have fun.

Zones on the Massif de Solaise are accessible to pedestrians, and also with a special “Solaise” pass.
